About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to take on the role of RBT Trainer. This individual will be responsible for training new RBTs in foundational ABA knowledge and skills, as well as providing ongoing training and support to current RBTs. The RBT Trainer will work closely with BCBAs and the training team to ensure that all RBTs are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to provide exceptional care to our learners.

Requirements

  • Current RBT certification in good standing with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an RBT.

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, practices, and the 5th edition RBT Task List.

  • Experience in training or mentoring others in an ABA setting is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively to individuals with varying levels of experience.

  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and the continuous professional development of staff.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.

Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients using ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques.

Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.

Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction sessions.

Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Assist in the development and review of individualized treatment plans.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.


Trainer Responsibilities:

Support, train, and mentor RBTs and other staff members.

Collect IOA Data on client programs

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
