About the Role

The Curriculum and Communications Specialist at Honey Bee Therapy is a dynamic role that combines clinical expertise with creative outreach. This position is split between providing direct support as a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and driving the development of educational and communicative materials for our center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Current RBT license.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Creative thinking with an eye for detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

  • Experience with social media platforms and basic design tools in Canva is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design and refine curricula tailored to individual learner needs, aligning with ABA principles and the goals of Honey Bee Therapy.

  • Parent Newsletters: Create monthly newsletters that provide valuable insights, updates, and resources to parents, ensuring they are informed and engaged with their child’s progress and the center’s activities.

  • Social Media Management: Develop and schedule engaging social media content that reflects the mission and values of Honey Bee Therapy, highlighting milestones, events, and educational tips for the broader community.

  • Center Calendar and Crafts: Curate and manage the center’s calendar, including planning and organizing seasonal crafts and activities that support therapeutic goals and enhance the learning environment.
